A panel will discuss history of modern occultism beginning with the spiritualist movement of the time of Madame Blavatsky through to the occurrence of the expansive growth and interest in paganism of today. Fundamental origins, such as the high magick of the aristocracy and the low magick of the common folk will be discussed. Each panelist will share their personal growth/inspirations in their paths, including the panelists’ personal historical influences through the years of practicing their arts. We will touch on the topic of our elders from the 20th century. The main focus is how we got where we are today as practitioners of Magick. Moderated by 3 Pagans and A Cat with Jason Mankey, Ian Corrigan, Paul Barbary and Pat Camarena-Rose Barbary as panelists. 2 more panelists may be added.
